Liverpool take on Burnley on Saturday away at Turf Moor and will have to keep Ashley Barnes quiet – as well as these other Clarets players.
The Reds traditionally play well against Sean Dyche’s men and come away with three points, but they’ve started the season strongly and in Barnes they have a striker who is on fire.
Burnley normally fall into the ‘hard to beat’ category and that is still true of the side, but they have added a bit more going forward as well.
Take a scroll down the ages of the squad and it’s clear to see that Dyche’s team is packed full of experience – with few players in the 21-25 bracket and most of them pushing 30 and their final few years in the Premier League.

At the start of the season you would have got excellent odds for Barnes featuring near the top of the Golden Boot tally after the first three rounds of competition, but there he is, flying the flag loud and proud.
But maybe we’ve all been underestimating the former journeyman? He’s an aggressive, natural finisher – say the Athletic – who can poach from inside the box and possesses a fantastic technique outside it.
With 4.3 shots per game and four goals, it’s important that Liverpool limit his ability to ping efforts at Adrian. And that’s not to say that Adrian isn’t a good stopper, he is, but Barnes is an excellent shooter.
Barnes is also a strong unit and Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip (probably) will have to take care not to let the English forward out-muscle them in the box. Normally that wouldn’t be a problem at all, but with this one… aahh, you just never know.
The 29-year-old is also excellent in the air and will need to be controlled during those situations.
